Diamondback Engine Warranty

"Engine and Partial Engine Warranty" Diamondback Engines warrants to the original retail purchaser for 12 months or 12,000 miles, that it will repair or replace, at its option, using new or remanufactured parts, Diamondback Engines street engine, that fail due to defect in material or workmanship.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

• Damage due to improper installation, negligence, alteration, accident, improper use, or any use related to racing, track or competition.

• Damage caused by lack of proper maintenance, or failure to use or maintain proper type and levels of fluid, fuel, oil and lubricants recommended Diamondback Engines. Proof of proper maintenance is the customer’s responsibility. Keep all receipts and be prepared to make them available if questions arise about maintenance.

• Damage as a result of overheating, contamination or lack of lubrication.

• Damage caused by a turbocharger, supercharger, nitrous oxide, or similar product, which is not an approved by Diamondback Engines for the motor sold to the customer.

• Racing engines and / or their components.

• Use of components in excess of maximum torque specification.

• Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, or other economic loss.

• Crating or shipping of the motor to Diamondback Engines or back to the customer.

• Vehicles registered and normally operated outside of the United States.

• This warranty does not apply to any engine assembled with any customer supplied moving parts – such as, but not limited to — crankshaft, pistons, piston rods, cam shaft, aluminum cylinder heads, rocker assemblies, lifters, springs, valves, etc.

OBTAINING REPAIRS:

Contact Diamondback Engines to discuss the problem and possible solution. If the engine needs to be returned for inspection and repair, obtain a RMA number to return with the engine to Diamondback Engines. After inspection you will be contacted with the results of the inspection and resolution.

OTHER TERMS:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Diamondback Engines does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligations or liability in connection with these Diamondback Engines engines.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO DIAMONDBACK ENGINES IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. THE PERFORMANCE OF REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY. DIAMONDBACK ENGINES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY.
